Mykel Broady, Host (one of them…)

Put simply, I’m a lifelong learner.

Hi, I’m Mykel.

Just as the podcast, my why(s) are to learn for a lifetime, redefine normal, defy the odds, and exemplify kindness. It’s imperative I mention them because I hope they define me.

Less deep bio coming up, my friends!

I’m a 21-year-old curious about a lot of things. I currently reside in Reno, NV where I study marketing & management at the University of Nevada, Reno. Outside of college, oftentimes, I hang out with my brother, read new books, and virtually connect with new/old friends.

Ever since I can remember, I’ve been drawn to the color orange. Why? I’m not too sure, perhaps it was the tasty popsicle my mom often gave me that ended up on my shirt as much as in my mouth. I’ve always been quite curious why orange is often left out of the color debate.

I’ve always been stumped when asked what my favorite food is. I’m too loyal to various, butter- and cheese-dominated dishes to choose one.

Although I spend much time listening to music, it’s never quite translated in action; however, I’m satisfied. I left my music career in a cold, middle-school gym while playing the coveted position of trianglist — adding rather unsettling notes to the musical theme of Star Wars.

I sense this bio is getting quite long, so I’ll pause here and make changes as we go.
